Digital money for everyone.
Dash (DASH)

What is Dash?
Dash is a cryptocurrency project focused on providing a decentralized and private payment method. To achieve this, it has features like InstantSend and PrivateSend. The former allows users to make transactions that get verified in around 4 seconds, while regular transactions take around 2.5 minutes. PrivateSend, on the other hand, allows for untraceable private transactions. These features are achieved thanks to Master nodes, a sort of advanced miner who needs to hold at least 1,000 DASH.
Why does Dash have value?
Dash was launched in the early stages of cryptocurrencies, in 2014, as a fork of Litecoin, and became really popular during its initial years. Its development team focused on spreading adoption and it is an accepted payment method in many countries. Many users love it because it provides payment privacy; at least in theory.
What are the benefits of Dash?
● PrivateSend and InstantSend provide fast and private transactions.
● Widely adopted as a payment method all around the world.
● Low fees.
What are the disadvantages of Dash?
● There are concerns about the centralization of masternodes.
● Some claim advanced software can 'de-privatize' Dash transactions

What are DASH’s tokenomics?
The maximum supply of DASH is set at 18.9 million. New blocks are mined each 2.5 minutes, generating 2.68 DASH. Initially, 45% was allocated to miners, 45% to masternodes, and 10% to fund future proposals. However, in August 2020 the community approved a proposal to change this. The new distribution rate will split the 90% allocated to miners and masternodes in a 40/60 ratio, respectively. This will be introduced gradually until the end of 2023.
Who founded Dash?
Evan Duffield and Kyle Hagan.
Who are Dash’s investors?
Dash conducted an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) in 2017. Its investors are Plutus21 and All Blue Capital.
