Golem - A peer-to-peer computing resource platform
A global marketplace of computation for rendering, AI, mining, and other resource intensive projects.
Golem (GLM)

What is Golem?
Golem is a platform for sharing and exchanging computing power in a P2P decentralized network. Users can either rent their surplus power out or use surplus power that is for rent. Uses for compute power include rendering, mining, or any other task. Software developers can use Golem to many high-compute programs that would otherwise be very costly. Users can be either Requestors or Providers.
Why does Golem have value?
For Providers, the Golem network represents a way of earning profits by renting out the computing power of their equipment. Requestors, on the other side, can perform the tasks they need without acquiring new devices or having to pay large up-front costs. It’s the perfect peer-to-peer marketplace for software developers that have compute power needs.
What are the benefits of Golem?
● Users can rent out their surplus computing power for rewards.
● The network is decentralized.
● Requestors can rent the available computing power and use it freely.
What are the disadvantages of Golem?
● There is a strong competition in the shared computing field, both centralized and decentralized.
● You must be technically saavy to utilize the network.

What are GLM’s tokenomics?
The total supply of GLM tokens is 1 billion, all of which were created during the project’s Initial Coin Offering. 82% of the supply was sold in the funding rounds; 12% were allocated to the Golem Factory; and 6% to the project’s founders. In November 2020, the network began a migration and all GNT tokens had to be swapped for GLM tokens.
Who founded Golem?
Julian Zawitowski, Andrzej Regulski, Piotr Janiuk, and Aleksandra Skrzypczak.
Who are Golem’s investors?
Golem has conducted four funding rounds, including an Initial Coin Offering. The main investors are NON-fungible Chan, Dean Patrick, Julian Sarokin, and Continue Capital.
Concise Crypto Grade:
B :We are big fans of incentivizing a decentralized protocol to let a community rent and lease computational power. Similar to RNDR, and projects like Helium or Filecoin, Golem is the peer-to-peer marketplace where developers can create immense projects, inexpensively, by borrowing compute as needed. Golem allows creativity and freedom of use to prosper in within their unique decentralized network.
Where can I buy GLM?
Bithumb, Binance, Huobi Global, KuCoin, Uniswap, Bittrex.
What ecosystem does Golem run on?
Ethereum
