What is Kava?

Kava is a DeFi lending platform built on the Cosmos blockchain, and compatible with Binance Smart Chain and Ethereum. Users can deposit different crypto assets as collateral and mint USDX, the native stablecoin of the protocol. The stablecoin reduces volatility and Kava allows you to mint/borrow their USDX and then use it on other DeFi platforms

Why does Kava have value?

Although Kava is built on Cosmos, it is interoperable with other blockchains. Users who want to mint USDX can deposit BTC, XRP, or BNB as collateral, despite being native to other chains. Then they can use that USDX in a variety of defi applications or to earn yield in liquidity pools.
