Ravencoin - A fork of Bitcoin
The Bitcoin fork that allows you to create assets
Ravencoin (RVN)

What is Ravencoin?
Ravencoin is a blockchain created in 2017 as a fork of Bitcoin. Similar to Bitcoin it uses a Proof of Work consensus and has a maximum supply; but other elements are completely different like the hashing algorithm used and the issuance schedule. Ravencoin allows for the creation of tokenized assets on the blockchain which can be created by any user. Ravencoin sees itself as a peer-to-peer blockchain that makes it supremely efficient to create and transfer digital assets.
Why does Ravencoin have value?
Tokenized assets on Ravencoin can be used to represent anything from fiat coins to stocks and virtual goods. In order to create them, users need to burn RVN, which reduces the circulating supply and increases the price of the token. The algorithm used for mining makes it ASIC-resistant, so small devices can mine the blockchain and earn RVN. In some ways Ravencoin mixes key features from both Bitcoin and Ethereum.
What are the benefits of Ravencoin?
● Fair tokenomics scheme.
● Users can issue tokens on the protocol.
● It is ASIC-resistant, so any person with a GPU can mine RVN.
What are the disadvantages of Ravencoin?
● Asset adoption on the chain is low.
● Easier to create new assets on other chains.

What are RVN’s tokenomics?
The maximum supply of RVN is 21 billion. New coins are distributed to miners entirely, and neither the team nor any other foundation receives a cut.
Who founded Ravencoin?
Bruce Fenton, Tron Back, and Joel Weight.
Who are Ravencoin’s investors?
None.
Concise Crypto Grade:
B- :Ravencoin is one of the older crypto projects in the top 100 marketcap of crypto. It is a unique project in that it borrows many of the elements of Bitcoin yet allows users to create and trade assets on the Ravencoin chain. It is completely open source and the tokenomics structure is one of the fairest in the industry. However, Ravencoin is competing against other protocols like Ethereum, Solana, and Algorand that allow you to create assets and already have mass adoption, a strong development network, and popularity from their decentralized apps. While Ravencoin may continue to be popular because of it’s mining rewards and strong tokenomics it’s going to be hard to continue to gain adoption in an increasingly competitive market.
Where can I buy RVN?

What ecosystem does Ravencoin run on?
